M.A.D. (Matters And Decisions-Meaning And Depth-Making A Difference) AKA, The Junior/Senior Group meets twice a month on the Friday preceding KFC Saturday’s from 6:30-9:30 PM. Our regular meetings include music, learning (we are using the awesome NOOMA series presented by Pastor Rob Bell to inspire and encourage everyone along the difficult path of life) and of course fun. We have table tennis, air hockey, a first class basketball backstop and of course, our awesome park where we play a number of games like soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, Frisbee golf, waffle ball over the line and many others . Along with the regular meeting times, we plan special events like family game night, family movie night, concerts, field trips, visits to local theme parks and one day mission trips/work projects. We are currently raising and saving money to purchase and help build a home through Project Mercy for a family in the Tijuana/Tecate region known as the Colonias. Last year we went out to the Los Coyotes Band of Indians in Warner Springs and painted their community building. The kids all the money necessary to purchase the materials, lodging, food and their reward at the end of the three day saga, a ride in a glider at the Warner Springs Airfield. Whatever we do, we do it knowing that we are so blessed and so we make it our mission is to bless others. Many of our children are involved in the Vanguard theatre group, an outreach ministry of Westminster Presbyterian Church for several decades now.
